Description: Sweet Apricot Chai is a green tea-based chai that celebrates the early-blooming Chinese apricot tree. Chinese apricots have a beautiful golden skin and a surprisingly firm yet flavorful, sweet flesh, and this blend uses them generously to create a distinctive east-meets-west chai.
The green tea is combined with oriental cinnamon, fennel, pink peppercorn and plenty of apricot, along with a light hint of ginger and cloves. The zingy pairing of sweet apricot with an intriguing cinnamon twist sets it apart from conventional chai. Apricot makes the cup succulent and soft, while cinnamon-sugar pieces add a caramelized sweetness. The dry leaf carries a strong spiced aroma with flowery apricot notes.
